Some more information about Ricardo
Ricardo is a Product and User Experience Designer from the Netherlands with a masters degree from Umeå Institute of Design in Advanced Product Design.
After finishing his Bachelors degree in Engineering and Design back in 2013 he has been working in the industry for a couple of years. Both at a design studio as well as in-house design departments to gain a broad range of experience.
Working within a team of skilled designers his goal in product design is the emotion and experience between user and product. Designing a desire by picturing himself in the skin of the end-user and its surroundings. Clean design, original solutions and eye for details are important aspects for him as product designer.
A user centered approach is where he feels at home.
Flexible, Organized, Calm and a good listener are words to describe him as a designer, colleague and person.
In his free time he loves Motorsports, likes to improve current skills and try out new software to broaden his skill set.
One day a week he is available for freelance product visualization work at his own studio APEX Creatives.
Some of his go-to tools:
Sketching – Adobe CC – Solidworks – Keyshot – Workshop
